Biography

N’veigh is a sonic storyteller and visionary from Mamelodi, weaving intricate narratives through rap, writing, and performance. His artistic trajectory is marked by bold debuts and innovative collaborations. The 2018 release of his EP “No Pineapples on my Pizza” ignited a creative spark, followed by high-profile appearances alongside Maggz on the Kid X single “Sisi” and a show-stopping BET Africa cypher performance. His debut album “Peanut Butter” (2019) was a masterclass in lyrical depth and musicality, earning critical acclaim and topping charts on iTunes and Google Play. The album’s launch was a multisensory experience, featuring a mixed media exhibition curated by the Association of Arts Pretoria and a limited-edition wine selection by Moeng Winery.
 
N’veigh’s latest EP, “Conversations are Better in a Benz” (2024), is a testament to his continued growth and creative experimentation, featuring collaborations with Maggz, Towdee Mac, Jimmy Wiz, and others. This latest project is now available on all major streaming platforms. A seasoned performer, N’veigh rose to prominence after winning the Nik Naks MC search competition, going on to share stages with notable acts like L’vovo, Tuks, and Skwatta Camp. His accolades include winning the “Masters of Rhythm” competition and being crowned “Rapper of the Year.” N’veigh’s feature credits include award-winning albums with Zano, JR, Tuks, and Slikour, as well as nominations for Best Lyricist and Best Group at the MTN Hype Magazine Awards.
 
Beyond music, N’veigh has also made his mark in film, starring in the thriller “Nomayini” alongside labelmate and collaborator, a production for MultiChoice’s Mzansi Bioskope channel. With a career spanning multiple disciplines and collaborations, N’veigh continues to push boundaries and redefine the South African music landscape.
