Lolli Native, born Luthando Dekeni, is a South African hip-hop luminary from Nyanga, Cape Town, whose rhythmic narrative weaves a tale of resilience and cultural pride. With roots in Kwaito and Hip-Hop, Lolli’s artistry is a vibrant fusion of streetwise lyricism and compelling storytelling, drawing inspiration from his Xhosa heritage and the challenges of his journey. From winning the Sprite Uncontainable talent search in 2014 to collaborating with hip-hop legends and performing alongside global icons like Usher, Lolli’s trajectory is a testament to his unwavering dedication. As a proud representative of the Spaza movement, Lolli’s music reflects his cultural identity, while his artistic versatility extends to acting, with notable roles in acclaimed South African television productions.
